You will encounter a live falcon, hawk, turtle, or snake. Discover the natural history, ecology, and adaptations of your animal of choice while conversing with a highly qualified VINS Environmental Educator. (20-minutes).

Please Note: the In-Person Animal Encounter is limited to 6 people. VINS Members need only purchase the Private Experience and may show their membership ID upon entry to the Nature Center.
Description
The VINS Nature Center is open year-round, features state-of-the-art raptor enclosures, exhibit spaces, interpretive nature trails, outdoor classroom, and our Forest Canopy Walk.*
All outdoor exhibits are open: Raptors, Songbirds, Adventure Playscape, Nature Trails, and the amazing Forest Canopy Walk. In addition, our indoor exhibits are open: Birds Are Dinosaurs, Reptile Room, and the Forest Exhibit.
It is our priority to create a safe and comfortable environment for all our guests and staff. Masks are required in all indoor spaces at the Nature Center, regardless of your vaccination status.
If you are a VINS Member please show your membership card upon entry. To use an EBT Card, Medicaid Card or Library Pass, please show your card and purchase tickets upon entry.
*All exhibits (including the Forest Canopy Walk) are included with general admission.
